Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn

Nguyễn Ngọc Ngạn is a Vietnamese-Canadian writer and novelist. He was born in Sơn Tây, Vietnam. He was drafted into the South Vietnamese army and sent to re-education camps for three years. He and family came to Canada as refugees in 1980, among the tens of thousands of boat people who made Canada their home.
Ngạn is known for co-hosting popular TV talent show, Thuy Nga's Paris By Night with Vietnamese personality Kỳ Duyên. He co-authored Ballad Of Mulan and The Blind Man and the Cripple - Orchard Village.
